Medium: Costume- Red Dress, Phoenix inspired, with wings

​

This costume is meant to be a static representation of where the craft of theatre currently finds itself at: a point in which it is being reviven, but not fully. It takes inspiration from the mythical phoenix to express the revival of theatre after shutting down during the pandemic. While many in the industry were convinced that the craft was dead, the costume sheds light on the beauty that comes from the process of “dying” and ultimately being revived.
